Then create a Tour event that combines play at this esteemed venue with the venerated links at Carnoustie and Kingsbarns, the newest addition to the St Andrews golfing family, and you have the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. This unique annual gathering of some of the world’s finest Tour Professionals playing alongside passionate amateurs from the worlds of entertainment, sport, business and more has become one of the most celebrated and magical occasions in the sporting calendar - for participants and fans alike. A Fox on the Prowl
Tournament winner Ryan Fox of New Zealand plays his second shot on the second hole of the Old Course, during the final round of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. He was supported in St Andrews by his father Grant, who captained the Rugby World Cup-winning All Blacks side in 1987.
