McDowell gets off to a flyer

Graeme McDowell got the final round of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship off to a flying start at St Andrews with three birdies in the first four holes.

The former US Open champion started the day a massive 12 shots behind runaway leader Tyrrell Hatton so is unlikely to be able to catch him, but he could certainly climb the leaderboard if he continues in the same vein.

Hatton, who tees off at 11.43am, finished the third round with a five-shot lead over Gregory Bourdy.
