Mike Rutherford

One of the two original members of legendary rock band Genesis. Originally bass guitarist and backing vocalist, he assumed the role of lead guitar on the band’s studio albums when Steve Hackett left in 1977. He was one of band’s songwriters, creating lyrics for hits such as Follow You Follow Me and Turn It On Again. He also released two solo albums in the early 1980s and created the band Mike and The Mechanics in 1985. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010. Plays most of his golf at Sunningdale. This is his second appearance in the Alfred Dunhill Links.
