A member of Holywood golf club, seven miles outside the city, where Rory learned his golf, now plays most of his golf at Seminole in Florida.

Celebrated his birthday at the Alfred Dunhill Links in 2014 by playing with Rory in the last group on the final day.
Finished runners-up on countback to Tommy Fleetwood and Ogden Phipps in the 2019 Team Championship.
