Dean Burmester

Won for the first time as a professional in 2013 at the Polokwane Classic, and added five more Sunshine Tour titles to his trophy cabinet before he triumphed at the co-sanctioned Tshwane Open in his homeland in 2017.

Ended a four-year wait for his second European Tour title with a dominant five-stroke victory at the 2021 Tenerife Open.

Sporting talent runs in the family for Burmester – his father Mark played international cricket for Zimbabwe while his mother Michelle is a talented golfer who holds the women’s course record at Royal Harare Golf Club, his home course.

When he is not competing, Burmester likes to unwind by going fishing.
