Over the past three decades he has advised on more than 400 mergers and acquisitions. He is a board member of the Tech Museum in San Jose, California, which shows how technology works and affects how we live, and the Innocence Project at Santa Clara Law School, which helps wrongly convicted prisoners He is a member of Los Altos, Lake Merced, Monterey Peninsula, Sebonack and Tehama, where he had two holes-in-one nine years apart on the same 17th hole. Caddied for Kirk Triplett at the 2005 US Masters. This is his fourth appearance in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. Says his best Alfred Dunhill moment was seeing his name on the leaderboard in 2011 at Carnoustie in the Team Championship on -5 after five holes.
